Music and jewellery making

Some friends have asked me : When do you feel most inclined to make jewellery? So I thought I could share this with my blog readers...

My favourite time is usually anytime after 12 noon to evenings, when I'm fully awake. Hopefully the weather is cool and raining outside. :)

The radio is switched on to the classical music station and there is peace in the room. Why classical music? To me, it represents perfection. I had about 15 years of classical music training since I was four, and there was a time when I was practising the piano for 8 hours a day. With a strict teacher, there was no room for mistakes. We were all taught to feel every note, listen to every pitch and play through our hearts. It was the most emotionally charged experience I've had as a child.

Perhaps it is this aim for perfection, that I feel associated with my jewellery. And I never felt the same way if I listened to any other form of music.
